Incorporated in 1896, Collegeville is a borough in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, a short 30-mile drive from Philadelphia. Collegeville got its name in 1869 after the founding of Ursinus College, which has such notable alumni as the great American author, J.D. Salinger, and philosophical author, Sam Keen. Collegeville also offers some of the nation’s best-preserved history at the 18th. Century Henry Muhlenberg House.
