Builder Solutions
Building A More Efficient Future!
In the past ten years, the Northeast has shown the highest percentage of growth in propane heated occupied homes. In addition, the number of new homes being built with propane is growing at staggering rates!
Between 2012 and 2017, Pennsylvania saw a massive 15.9% growth of homes heating with propane, while Maryland saw a growth rate of 5.9%. With 2021 privately-owned housing completions increasing close to 22% compared to 2020 rates, the market share of propane-heated homes is set to keep growing.
Strong relationships with local builders
At Great Valley Propane, we’ve developed great relationships with hundreds of builders. Our relationships and presence as members of the National Association of Home Builders enables us to help builders and construction companies complete their projects quickly and efficiently.
We love watching our cities grow and understand the demands of our local builders better than anybody else. If you’re looking to complete your building projects more efficiently, give us a call today to discuss your best options for new construction installation or temporary site heating!
Start-To-Finish
For many years, we’ve partnered with hundreds of builders to develop mutually beneficial relationships. Our goal is to keep developing these tight-knit relationships. We are involved in every step of your building process — from the time the project is just a thought in your head, to the hole in the ground, to the beautiful structure that houses a family or business.
Initial Planning
Give us a call when the project is just a thought in the back of your mind, and we’ll walk you through whether propane tanks can be used to make the heating portion of your job a little bit easier!
Site Planning
Once the project gets started, we’ll take frequent trips to the job site to draw out where propane tanks can be placed and explain the local codes that need to be followed.
Adjusting
Our experience with new construction allows us to know that new construction is an ever-changing process. There are bound to be adjustments along the way, and we are always there to answer any questions.
Finished Product
Once the home, building, or complex is built, we’ll work with you to determine the best way of setting up accounts for the new owners. We’ll make sure the new owners feel welcome and are well informed of correct propane safety measures!
Rebates!
Due to the desire for new, clean energy in our country, we assist builders with getting rebates for their work to help save them more money!
Why Build With Propane
It’s Clean and Efficient
Propane emits significantly less CO2 compared to electricity for residential applications and commercial needs. For example, electric water heaters can emit 2.5x that of a propane tankless water heater.
It Saves People Money
The efficiency of propane furnaces compared to other fuel sources is unmatched. Propane furnaces have ratings of up to 98% efficiency compared to other sources like oil that only get up to about 87% efficiency. This means considerable savings for the owner and builder due to the cheaper installation costs for propane equipment!
People Like Modern & Versatility
Propane’s versatility and wide range of usage ability give consumers the ability to choose first-class amenities for their home or building.
Builders Love It!
Because propane storage tanks come in a variety of sizes and can be placed above ground or underground, builders have flexibility in the way they develop their projects. Builders also can qualify for certain rebates for their work. In addition, there’s no need to fight with a public utility company!
It’s American-Made
Nearly 97% of propane is produced in the United States! That means when you choose to use propane, you’re supporting American businesses!
It’s Safe
Propane is non-toxic and will not cause health issues. In addition, propane tanks and equipment, if installed correctly, require little upkeep! To learn more about building with propane and how it’s done, we’ve attached the Building With Propane Guide: Residential Edition by the Propane Education & Research Council.
National Association of Home Builders
We’ve been members of our local Home Builders Associations (HBA) for many years. In addition, one of our key team members, Ted West, has been serving on the Board of Directors of the Home Builders Association of Bucks and Montgomery County! Furthermore, we are part of the HBA for Chester and Delaware County in Pennsylvania and all HBAs for our Maryland counties that we serve.
By being a member of these various local HBAs, we’ve gained access to both Pennsylvania and Maryland’s state associations as well as the National Association of Home Builders.
Being a member of these organizations has enabled us to develop relationships with our members, builders, and experts in the construction industry. If you’re ready to take advantage of what we’ve learned, give us a call today!
